Hire a freelance specialist in Eindhoven

Marketers, developers, designers, copywriters and AI specialists who regularly join our clients — to great satisfaction.

Hire a freelance specialist in Eindhoven

Looking for a freelancer in Eindhoven for your website, webshop, marketing or brand? Since 2010, Brandable has worked with a permanent core team and a broad network of freelancers: marketers, developers, designers, copywriters, SEO specialists, e-commerce managers and AI specialists. Many of our freelancers join our clients on a regular basis — with some clients for years already, all to great satisfaction.

The difference with a random platform: we know these people. We have worked with them, we know what they can do, how they communicate and where they excel. So you are not hiring a profile, but someone whose work has already proven itself — with Brandable as backup if more is needed than one person.

Why hire a freelancer?

  • Start fast — no months-long recruitment process; often someone at work within one to two weeks
  • Exactly the knowledge you are missing — bring in a specialist for that one specific question, instead of a generalist for everything
  • Flexible scaling — a day a week, three months full-time, or temporary during a peak, leave or vacancy
  • No permanent employment — no long-term wage obligation, no risk during illness or absence, but clear agreements on continuity
  • Knowledge stays behind — good freelancers document and hand over, so your team structurally benefits
  • A fresh outside perspective — someone who has seen ten comparable organisations spots faster what is being left on the table
  • Immediately productive — experienced freelancers do not need a quarter to get up to speed

What to watch out for when hiring a freelancer

Freelance works excellently — but not automatically. These are the places where it goes wrong in practice, and how to avoid that.

  • A vague assignment — "more online visibility" is not an assignment. Define a goal, a period and a measurable outcome before hiring someone.
  • Proof over CV — ask for actual work, results and references at comparable organisations, not for a list of tools.
  • Availability — a freelancer with four clients is not necessarily bad, but agree on fixed days and response times.
  • Handover and access — have everything delivered in your own accounts and environments. Website, ad accounts, analytics and source code are yours, always.
  • Ownership of work and data — put copyright, licences and data processing (GDPR) in writing, even for short assignments.
  • Dutch employment law (Wet DBA) — now that enforcement is active again, the way you work together matters: an assignment rather than a role, own way of working, own resources, no relationship of authority. Work with a clear assignment agreement.
  • One person is one discipline — a developer doesn't build a campaign, a marketer doesn't build a webshop. Decide up front who picks up the other pieces.
  • Continuity — what if your freelancer drops out or stops? Make sure there is documentation and a party who can step in.
  • Price versus return — an hourly rate tells you nothing. Calculate what the result is worth: cheap work that has to be redone is the most expensive thing there is.

That last two points are exactly where our advantage lies: if someone drops out or more turns out to be needed, someone else from our network or our team steps in.

Which freelancers can you hire from us?

Our network maps one-to-one onto our services. These are the roles we regularly deploy for clients:

  • Freelance web designer and web design specialist — design that converts, from first sketch to launch
  • Freelance web developerwebsites and applications in Webflow, WordPress or code, fast and maintainable
  • Freelance WordPress specialist — themes, plugins, speed, security and migrations
  • Freelance Shopify specialist — theme development, apps, feeds and international shops
  • Freelance webshop and e-commerce manager — assortment, feeds, margins, campaigns and conversion in one hand
  • Freelance online marketerstrategy, channel choice, budget and execution
  • Freelance digital marketing specialist — the bridge between channels, data and creative
  • Freelance SEO specialist — technique, content and authority, including local visibility
  • Freelance SEA and advertising specialist — Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and shopping campaigns
  • Freelance copywriter — copy for websites, campaigns, email and content
  • Freelance graphic designer — visual identity, branding, campaign assets and templates
  • Freelance UX and UI designer — user research, flows, wireframes and interfaces
  • Freelance CRO specialist — hypotheses, A/B tests and more result from the same visitors
  • Freelance AI specialist — automation, AI agents, prompts and tooling that make your team faster
  • Freelance Lovable developer — building apps and prototypes with AI; we are the 1st Lovable partner in the Netherlands
  • Freelance HubSpot specialist — implementation, workflows, integrations and reporting
  • Freelance social media specialist — content calendar, production and community
  • Freelance data and analytics specialist — tagging, dashboards and insight into what every euro delivers
  • Freelance project manager / interim marketing manager — someone who holds the whole thing together

Combinations are also possible: a developer plus a copywriter for a new website, or an SEO specialist plus an e-commerce manager for a webshop that needs to perform harder.

Freelance, interim or an agency after all?

  • Freelance fits when the assignment is clear, one discipline is enough and you can steer it yourself.
  • Interim fits a temporary gap in your organisation: someone who takes over a role, joins the team and takes on responsibility.
  • An agency fits when several disciplines are needed, continuity matters and you would rather not direct it yourself.

We do all three — and we'll tell you honestly which option delivers most in your situation, even when that is the smallest one. Looking specifically for temporary reinforcement for website, marketing or content? Also check out hiring a freelancer for website, marketing and copywriting.

Freelancers in Eindhoven and the Brainport region

Our office is in the centre of Eindhoven, on Willemstraat, within walking distance of Eindhoven Central Station. That means our freelancers can genuinely sit at your table — in Eindhoven, Veldhoven, Best, Helmond, Tilburg, Den Bosch and further across Brabant. Working remotely is of course also possible; most collaborations are a mix.

Why that local presence matters: an afternoon together at the table often delivers more than three video calls. And if you have a question, you're not stuck in a ticketing system.

How hiring through Brandable works

  1. A short call — we get a clear picture of your question, goal, period and budget.
  2. A proposed match — you get one or two concrete candidates from our network, with work and references.
  3. Getting acquainted — you decide whether it clicks, professionally and personally.
  4. Agreements in writing — assignment, hours, rate, duration, ownership and handover.
  5. Get to work and adjust — fixed evaluation moments, scaling up or down when needed.

No long commitments and no candidate we "just happened to have available". If nobody in our network fits, we say so.

Frequently asked questions about hiring freelancers

What does it cost to hire a freelancer?

Rates differ per discipline and level of experience; for most marketing, design and development roles the market sits roughly between 75 and 150 euros per hour. We give a realistic indication up front for your request, including an estimate of the number of hours, so you can decide on return instead of hourly rate.

How quickly can a freelancer start?

Usually within one to two weeks. When it is urgent it is sometimes faster, because we work with people we already know and don't have to search for first.

Can I hire a freelancer for one day a week?

Yes. From half a day a week to full time — and scaling up or down along the way is normal, as long as you agree on it up front.

What is the difference between a freelancer and an interim specialist?

A freelancer works on a clearly defined assignment with their own way of working. An interim specialist temporarily takes over a role in your organisation and joins meetings and responsibilities. In practice the two overlap; what you need depends on how much direction you want to keep yourself.

How does Dutch employment law (Wet DBA) apply to freelance work?

We use assignment agreements that set out the assignment, the result and the independent way of working. It matters that the freelancer does not fill a position under your authority, but carries out an assignment with their own means and their own approach. We think this through with you, but we are not a legal advisor.

Do you work outside Eindhoven?

Yes. We are based in Eindhoven but work with clients across the Netherlands and sometimes beyond.

What if the freelancer turns out not to fit?

Then we look for a different match or cover it internally. Because we work with a network and our own team, your project does not have to stand still.

Can a freelancer work alongside my own team?

That is the rule rather than the exception. Our people are used to joining existing teams, tools and processes and handing over knowledge.
