Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want in plain language, with an AI model writing the code — you steer on outcome rather than lines of code.
Tools like Lovable make this genuinely usable: you describe a page, dashboard or flow, look at the result and adjust. For internal tools, prototypes and portals that is often weeks faster than a classic project.
Quality depends on the brief, not the tool: who it is for, what someone must be able to do, how you measure whether it works. Structure, speed, accessibility and security stay a deliberate choice.
In practice
Assuming expertise is no longer needed. Without someone guarding the data model, permissions and maintenance you quickly build something you cannot change a year later.
