AI automation means setting up processes where an AI model takes over steps that used to be manual: sorting, summarising, drafting, routing.
Unlike classic automation, the step lives in an instruction rather than in rules. That makes it flexible for language and exceptions, and less predictable.
Start with one high-volume process with a clear outcome, such as classifying and enriching inbound requests. Build in a review step before anything goes out.
In practice
Don't automate a process that is already messy. You get the same mess, faster and in larger volumes.
