A prompt is the instruction you give an AI model. The clearer the role, goal, context and required format, the more usable the answer.
What helps most in practice: supply background, state what you don't want, ask for a fixed format, and have the model outline before it writes.
Save prompts that work as templates. A team using the same tested prompts gets more predictable results than everyone improvising.
