SEO and AI visibility
On-page SEO is everything you control on the page itself: content, heading structure, title and description, internal links, images and overall readability.
It starts with content that genuinely answers the query: one clear topic per page, the answer early, follow-up questions after. Then form — a logical H1 and subheadings, a title and meta description matching the content, alt text on images, and internal links to related pages.
On-page overlaps with technical SEO but is not the same. Speed, indexability and structured data are technical; what the page says and how it is built is on-page.
It is the part you fully control, which is why it is usually where you start.
In practice
Optimising for the engine instead of the reader. A page nobody finishes loses its position again anyway.
