Where Citation Flow counts, Trust Flow weighs. A handful of authoritative, relevant links moves TF more than hundreds of directory links.
Topical Trust Flow is more useful than the total: links from your field weigh more than links from random strong domains.
In practice
TF is also a tool estimate. Use it to compare link profiles, not as a target.
