Email and CRM
Leadinfo is a B2B tool that uses a visitor's IP address to work out which companies visit your website and which pages they viewed.
A script on your site matches a visitor's IP address against a database of business IP ranges. On a match you see company name, industry, size and visit behaviour.
Identification is at organisation level, not individual level: you do not know who was behind the laptop. Home workers, mobile traffic and VPN use usually cannot be matched.
Treat the data as a prioritisation signal, not as a lead. State the use in your privacy statement and respect your consent settings.
In practice
Calling with 'I saw you were on our site'. It feels intrusive and usually reduces your chances.
