Inbound marketing

Strategy and planning
Inbound marketing means attracting customers by being useful: content, explanation and visibility so people find you at the moment they are looking themselves.
The opposite is outbound: cold calls, mailing lists, ads to people who asked for nothing. Inbound reverses the order — you make sure you are there when the question arises, through search engines, AI assistants, expert content and recommendations.
The build-up is usually: make something findable that answers a real question, give a reason to leave contact details (a guide, a tool, a consultation), and then help those contacts step by step until they are ready to talk.
Inbound is not a free alternative to advertising. It takes time to get going and needs maintenance, but the effect compounds: a page that ranks keeps delivering visitors and requests for years.
Tip
Always give visitors a clear next step. That way they become requests instead of traffic that simply leaves.
