CPC is the price you pay per click on your ad. Your average CPC is ad spend divided by clicks.
What you pay depends on competition for that keyword and on your quality score: relevant ads with a good landing page typically pay less for the same position.
A low CPC isn't a goal in itself. €0.20 clicks that never convert are more expensive than €4 clicks that produce a quote request.
