SEO and AI visibility
The SERP is a search engine's results page: alongside blue links it holds ads, maps, videos, question boxes and AI answers.
Position 1 therefore doesn't automatically mean top of the screen. Ads, a local map or an AI summary can sit above your result and take most of the visible area.
Before you start a page it pays to look at the SERP for your main keyword: which elements appear, what type of pages rank, and how much room is left for an organic result.
