SEO and AI visibility
Google Search Console is a free Google tool showing how your site performs in search results and whether Google can process your pages properly.
It holds two kinds of information. First performance: which queries you appear for, how often (impressions), how often people click and at what average position. It is the only place with real query data from Google itself rather than a third-party estimate.
Second the technical side: which pages are indexed and which are not, and why not — a noindex, a redirect, a canonical pointing elsewhere, or a page Google treats as a duplicate. You also find your sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, structured data errors and manual actions.
Practical use: submit your XML sitemap, check that new or updated pages get indexed, and periodically review queries where you are visible but get few clicks. Those are often the fastest wins — a better title or description on a page that already ranks.
Tip
Use Search Console for search results and your analytics tool for on-site behaviour. That way you read both sets of numbers the way they're meant to be read.
