Advertising
Performance Max is a Google Ads campaign type that covers every channel from one campaign: Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, Discover, Gmail and Maps.
You supply assets (copy, images, video, optionally a product feed), a goal and a budget; the system decides the rest. That makes it powerful with a well-filled feed and enough conversion data, and opaque when you want to know exactly where results came from.
Steer what you can steer: asset quality, brand exclusions where needed, separate campaigns per product group, and clean conversion tracking.
