Advertising
LinkedIn Ads is LinkedIn's advertising platform, reaching professional audiences by attributes such as job title, industry and company size.
Campaigns are built in Campaign Manager: pick an objective, define the audience, choose an ad format and set budget and schedule.
Formats range from image, video and carousel to Document Ads, Message Ads and Lead Gen Forms — forms that open inside LinkedIn pre-filled with profile data.
Click prices are usually higher than on search or consumer platforms, so judge on cost per lead relative to order value, not on click price.
In practice
Audiences that are too small. Below a few thousand people, frequency climbs and costs rise without teaching you anything.
