Strategy and planning
Lean is a way of working centred on customer value and removing everything that doesn't contribute to it: waiting, rework, overproduction.
Marketing has the same wastes as manufacturing: approval rounds stalled for days, content nobody uses, reports nobody reads.
Start with the lead time of one process, say briefing to publication, and take the waiting out of it.
