The checkout is your shop's payment flow: from cart to confirmation. This is where most of the revenue you almost had disappears.
What helps: allow guest checkout, show shipping cost early, keep fields to a minimum, offer trusted payment methods and give clear inline error messages.
Measure how many people continue per step. One frequently failing field or one unexpected cost often explains a large share of the drop-off.
