Business Model Canvas(BMC)

Strategy and planning
The Business Model Canvas is a nine-block framework that captures on one page how your organisation creates, delivers and captures value.
The nine blocks: customer segments, value proposition, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key activities, resources, partners and cost structure.
The value is in the conversation it triggers. Fill it in with the team and look for the blocks you disagree on — that is usually the real question.
In practice
A canvas is a snapshot, not a plan. Without decisions and owners it stays a poster on the wall.
